Sol de Carvalho
Born in Mozambique in 1953, Sol de Carvalho studied at the National Film Conservatory in Lisbon and has worked as a journalist, editor and photographer, as well as producing numerous documentaries and television programs.
He was a founding partner of the production company Ébano (together with Pedro Pimenta and Licinio Azevedo), from which he later left to set up Promarte. He was the founder and is the general manager of Companhia de Produção Promarte, in Maputo, having already produced dozens of productions, including fiction films and documentaries.
O Jardim do Outro Homem is his first feature film.
