WITH

Bernardo Lopes is a director, screenwriter and producer. With a degree in Cinema, Video and Multimedia Communication by University Lusófona, he began his career as a film critic for publications such as Nisimazine and C7nema. He was one of the juries at the 71st Venice International Festival, in the Venice Days - Giornate Degli Autori section. On the same occasion, he was chosen as Portuguese ambassador for the LUX Prize - European Union Film Prize.

In cinema, he made four short fiction films and a feature documentary film with awards and selections at prestigious national and international festivals. As a producer, he worked on several feature films, including Jefe (2018), by Sérgio Barréjon, Granma Nineteen and the Soviet's Secret (2019), by João Ribeiro, Nothing Ever Happened (2020) by Gonçalo Galvão Teles and Noite em Claro ( 2021) by Felipe Bragança. On television, he produced the series #CasaDoCais (2020) and 5Starz (2021).
