Eduardo Guillot

After working in various areas of production, Eduardo Guillot established himself as director and producer with the series Matalaché, an adaptation of Enrique López Albújar's novel of the same name, about the racial conflicts in Peru.

In 2007, he produced and directed the short film La historia de Liz Rojas, which won an award at the Boston Latin American Film Festival.

In 2018, he directed his first feature film, Caiga quien caiga. His second feature film, La pasión de Javier (2019), a film inspired by the life of poet Javier Heraud, starred Stefano Tosso. It was filmed in Lima, Paris and in the jungle of Madre de Dios. It was supported by Spain's Ibermedia fund and the Peruvian Ministry of Culture.
