Inspired by true stories, we follow Vera, Madalena, Conceição, and Gabriela, victims of domestic violence living in a shelter home. Together, they rediscover their place in the world while striving to achieve independence and security in order to start a new life. Each episode is dedicated to one of the women, as well as to Joana, the psychologist who supports them.
t is a personal sharing and a unique testimony of women who are not defined solely by the dramatic situation they are in—though they can never fully forget it.

He developed the concept of Documentary Novel in Argentina with the short films “Fuera de Cuadro” and “La Ilusión te Queda.”
In Portugal, he wrote and directed the feature film “Uma Rapariga da Sua Idade” (A Girl of Her Age). His films address themes such as the differences in perspective between generations and the discovery of new places of belonging for characters inspired by real stories.
In addition to his work as an assistant director, he is actively involved in social causes, with a special focus on combating multiple forms of violence, which is now materializing in the series project “Casa-Abrigo.”
He is preparing a play about a family of workers, which is scheduled to premiere in 2027.
